I know I asked this before, but can't find the post, but who would be interested in trying an Iron Butt ride? It is 1,000 miles in 24 hours so it would be best to just ride up I-5 or another interstate. I think Scott said he was interested and a few others said no. I just figure if we want to do this we may want to think about this before December.

I just found out that if you go to the bottom of the Home page and then click on "Who's online" it will load up the Google Maps on the page. It is kind of cool that makes this so easy to get to a map. Just thought some would like to know.

The worst situation is trying to re-engage the clutch when the bike is at slow roll and don't come to a complete stop. Definite skipping/chugging/squealing going on...took it to the best local dealer and they agreed there was a problem but the West Coast technical service guy is a hard case and will not approve any work. Bike was bought used in July 2008 with only 220 miles on it and has only 1800 total miles ... I've not been on many BAMR rides yet because I prefer smaller groups, like 2-4 scoots. Anyone else like me? I'm up for a ride like that on Saturday, as the wife will be out of town.

If more than 4 are interested, then I'd suggest splitting up by location (I'm in Fairfield) or desired route, with each group doing its own thing independently.

Vendor gave me some weights to put on the end of the handlebars. That helped but there's still a distinct wobble at that speed. I'm wondering if this is endemic to all new Vespas of my model and don't know where to go from here. Anyone else suffering this malady, or heard about it?
